Ore Generation

A detailed explanation on our custom ore-generation.

Due to having a custom world, ores generate a little differently. Vanilla ores are relatively unchanged, however. Gold ore generation has been increased, this is because it's our main driver in our economy, learn more about our economy here. Pixelmon ore and fossil generation has been tweaked significantly, the rates are relatively the same but you may notice subtle differences. View the categories below to see what's changed.

Changes to Fossil Generation

Fossil - This ore spawns on the Ocean Floor (Y level 64-54)

Changes to Ore Generation

Silver Ore - This ore now replicates Iron Ore spawn-rates.

Silicon Ore - This ore now replicates Iron Ore spawn-rates.

Bauxite Ore - This ore now replicates Iron Ore spawn-rates.

Platinum Ore - This ore now replicates Gold Ore spawn-rates.

Amethyst Ore - This ore now replicates Gold Ore spawn-rates.

Sapphire Ore - This ore now replicates Gold Ore spawn-rates.

Changes to Evolution Stone Generation

Water Stone - This ore now replicates Diamond Ore spawn-rates.

Thunder Stone - This ore now replicates Diamond Ore spawn-rates.

Leaf Stone - This ore now replicates Diamond Ore spawn-rates.

Fire Stone - This ore now replicates Diamond Ore spawn-rates.

Dawn Stone - This ore now replicates Diamond Ore spawn-rates.

Shiny Stone - This ore now replicates Diamond Ore spawn-rates.

Ice Stone - This ore spawns in any Ice Biome (Surface)

Sun Stone - This ore spawns in any Desert Biome (Surface)
